Flagship Journal Editor Ian Akyildiz Awarded Honorary Professorship
On behalf of Elsevier, we are delighted to announce that on the 17th of June 2008 Professor Ian Akyildiz, Editor-in-Chief of Computer Networks, Ad Hoc Systems, and Physical Communication, was awarded an honorary professorship from the Universitat Politècnica de Cataluna in Barcelona. We are honoured to work with somebody of Professor Akyildiz's stature and we are intensely proud to have him lead our flagship journals in this field. Once again, our congratulations to Professor Akyildiz on this well-deserved honour at this leading institution.
